Design/build was the key to the success of this new corporate headquarters and production facility for Econoprint. This project included a state of the art production facility including an almost “clean room” for the printing presses. It also entailed collaborative office spaces for the digital side of the company, called PowderKeg, that does website design and graphic work.

Nakoma Golf Club – Madison, WI

This design/build project included a complete interior makeover of the club’s common spaces, restrooms and dining areas. Included was the reconfiguration of the sports bar to include new equipment to maximize bartender efficiency, as well as the addition of a bartending work location.

Henry Vilas Zoo- Madison, WI

When a notably rotted heavy timber truss was discovered on the Souvenir Shop at the Henry Vilas Zoo, Dane County Public Works turned to McKee Associates to fix the problem. The solution entailed supporting the existing roof structure and the removal and replacement of all heavy timber pieces. When completed, it was hard to identify which were the new timbers and which were the old.

Lake Wisconsin Home – Poynette, WI

This custom home sits on the shores of Lake Wisconsin and is more like a commercial office building than a traditionally built house. Some uncommon house details include foundations built into the hillside, precast concrete garage floor, a 3-stop elevator, clerestory windows, and radiant floor heat. The breathtaking views of Lake Wisconsin were the inspiration for the beautiful home.

Spring Green Police Department

137 N Washington St, Spring Green, WI 53588

When it was time to expand its Police Department the Village of Spring Green purchased the VFW building in Spring Green and contracted with McKee Associates to renovate the spaces. Work included an exterior ADA Handicapped ramp addition, interior bathroom addition, general office construction, and electronic security door hardware.

McKee Associates, Inc has been great to work with from the beginning of design to the bidding and constructing of our Public Services Storage Building. During the design process, Vince would bring in sample of materials and was very helpful with construction aspects of things that we could do or shouldn’t do.
