Jim had a 42-year career with McKee Associates, Inc. He began working in 1978 as a carpenter and after gaining experience, he progressed to project superintendent. He would later be promoted to construction manager of our restaurant division for his last 15 years at McKee Associates, Inc. before retiring.

In 2008, Kory joined McKee Associates after seeing how happy his dad (Jim) was working here. Kory joined the company as a carpenter and worked his way up to project superintendent before going to work in a family business of his own in 2019.

In 2017 Dave joined McKee as a project superintendent. Having enjoyed his time with us, he recommended his brother Rick and his Son Daniel also apply. Both of them also became project superintendents. Even though Daniel started with minimal experience in the commercial construction field, with McKee Associates training and guidance he has become a great superintendent.

Dan came to McKee Associates from the landscape industry as a foreman in 2006. Through training and education, Dan increased his construction knowledge as a superintendent and learn the ins and outs of our restaurant division. Dan was promoted in 2017 into the Construction Manager/Estimating role in the restaurant division.

We have worked with and known the McKee family for over forty years. McKee Associates, Inc has been great to work with from the beginning of design to the bidding and constructing of our Public Services Storage Building. During the design process, Vince would bring in sample of materials and was very helpful with construction aspects of things that we could do or shouldn’t do. During the bidding process, Vince was able to get very competitive bids and get a good bid for us. During the construction phase we came into some unforeseen site issues and Vince and the construction manager were able to walk us through the details and find a remedy that was cost effective. The construction process was easy, and the quality of work was great. We love our new storage building.

“In spring of 2016 the Columbus Historic Landmarks & Preservation Commission awarded McKee Associates the remodeling contract for some very important improvements to our 100 year old Historic Firemans’ Park Pavilion. The addition of a new elevator, 2 new ADA bathrooms on the 2nd floor, and a full remodel of the existing bathrooms were all on the projects list. As president of CHLPC, I got the pleasure of working with McKee Associates, and their sub-contractors from start to finish on the project. Weekly meetings and good communication by McKee was appreciated, and key in the success of our project. They did an amazing job of making the new additions blend beautifully within the 100 year old structure by repurposing the old wainscoting and tin ceilings. McKee Associates and their subcontractors were professional, courteous, and did a fantastic job. Punch list items were taken care of in a very timely manner and they stood behind their work. “McKee Associates Inc was awarded the Fischer Senior Center Project in the Village of Lake Delton. This was a renovation with an addition. All of the personnel were great and would take the time to listen to concerns of the Village.
